There is a specific porch paint you can buy in home stores. Also check into liquis sandpaper if your going over old stuff and not refinishing etc. If they are interior floors-use a oil base paint-repaint after with a sealer. Make sure its not one that yellows.Floor paint?
Paint stores and home centers made paint to use on floors, it is not long lasting outside but provides good protection for wood floors.
