idk but it could start to peel off after a while? Can I paint a KOI pond with regular epoxy floor covering paint?
No, no, no, no, no. Well actually you could, but DON'T.

Regular paint (even epoxy floor paints) are made for getting DAMP (when you mop) regularly, and wet rarely. They cannot take being submersed for any length of time.

Spend a few bucks more and get swimming pool paint (which can be coloured), or go the full route and get pond paint. Either paint is formulated to withstand submersion for many years. Acrylic, epoxy and rubberized paints are available, and can be applied onto a damp surface (but follow the directions). Pond/pool paints will also seal the surface they are applied to.

Do an advance google search for ';pond paint';. Lots of results.

I am assuming that your pond is of a cement/stucco material. Can I paint a KOI pond with regular epoxy floor covering paint?
you really should not. If you are concerned as to seeing the bottom, change the stones to a lighter color on the bottom.

Epoxy's have various chemicals that will leach into the water. They do sell pool paints in various colors and are designed to be underwater for years without leaching or peeling. Go that route if you feel you need to paint.
It might hurt the fish
once the water is out, that will be fine. Make sure you paint at 70F or higher, and allow the paint to cure for a week before putting any water in it.
No it would be toxic
i wouldnt
No. Use only a paint that can be used in water.Try asking a pet supply house which paint can be used.I am sure it it is going to be marine grade epoxy paint.
