What can I use to remove paint stains from tile floor ?

The satin is old, it was there when we bought the house.


Its not a large stain but actually a couple of small green stains on pretty light blue tile. It's an eye sore on beautiful tile.What can I use to remove paint stains from tile floor ?

If it's ceramic tile, paint thinner should work.


If it's vinyl tile, I'd try mineral spirits (not as potent as paint thinner).
you can use paint thinner with out worry for the tile. It will work guaranteed.
