What is the best type of paint to use to paint a screened in cement porch floor?

My porch floor is already painted a dull gray. Are there other colors of cement porch paint out there to liven things up? Do I need to do any special type of cleaning before painting the concrete floor? Thanks in advance for all your help! What is the best type of paint to use to paint a screened in cement porch floor?
I have to go with epoxy paints for garages. They are not cheap but will last forever. You have to get yourself set up before you start because you can not wait after you start. I knew a guy who stopped in the middle and had a heck of a time removing it. It was in a pile in the middle of his garage. Most people have it done for them. What is the best type of paint to use to paint a screened in cement porch floor?
Mix 3 parts water to 1 part paint, laytex paint. Use a large sponge or a old broom, and apply sparringly. Let it dry before applying again if you want it darker. Doing it this way will let you chage the color gradually, till you like it and won't lift the gray paint already on the floor. Sort of like a dry rub. Good Luck Don't use any product with a petrouleum base to clean it with, like lysol, or pine sol. Try using some amonia and vineger, to strip it a little, rinse it good too. Don't ever let the new paint puddle or repaint again without the new paint being absolutly dry.
Pittsburgh %26amp; Glidon both make a very good concrete paint. They also make a rubber paint you can get a Home Depot it's a roofing paint but it will adhere to concrete.I did a garage floor with it and it lasted about 10 years.
Oh there are lots of colors to choose from. Hop on down to the paint store and go wild! Why not huh?

And you most likely will just have to clean the floor. But ask the paint store. Enjoy your new floor
