Last night I took a shower after a long day of painting patio furniture. Some of the speckles of paint that were stuck to me ended up on the floor of the tub - the paint is black and my tub is white ceramic.
Since last night, I have scrubbed the tub (while wet %26amp; while dry) with a heavy duty scrubber, and with cleaning chemicals, but the most the paint will do is smear.
Any suggestions how to remove it?
Thanks! How do I get paint off the floor of my bathtub?
There is a pruduct called OOPS Multi-Purpose remover. You can buy it almost anywhere. Girl once you've used this you won't want to be without it. Get it.How do I get paint off the floor of my bathtub?
Some of the above products are okay. Goof Off and Goo B Gone are both nearly identical/ the same product. They easily remove paint, glue, ink, etc... It smells a whole lot like finger nail polish remover (also may work) only much stronger. It's really strong stuff and removes paint or glue in seconds. Maybe you already have a little can of it already in your shop area.
Wash with a solution of washing soda or detergent (not soap) and water. Scrub with a cloth or soft-bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly with clear water and allow to dry.
Ether. It removes all paints and varnishes. Buy it in quart cans at the hardware store. It won't harm the enamel finish of the tub either.
paint thinner
mineral spirits
razor
IWNBS,
let it dry and scrape it off with a putty knife or razor blade
magic eraser from mr. clean! OR CHIP IT
ether or petrol or karosine oil are best for that
