Can you put put fast drying floor laquer over grey floor paint for extra protection?

I have a johnsons floor paint down but i dont think it will wear well. I have put down two coats of beckers catalasyt (two pack) floor laquer over it. No reactions, but i'm wondering will it make it more hard wearing for pallets and hand pump pallet truck. I did,nt want to put apoxy floor paint down. just wondering is the floor laquer a good substitute? Can you put put fast drying floor laquer over grey floor paint for extra protection?
I am not familiar with either of those products. However, I am very familiar with paints in general. There is a good chance that putting that new coating on top of that floor paint so quickly after painting could cause the coating to fail. At the very minimum if you go with it, scuff sand the floor paint. You might also need to sand in between the floor lacquer (per the product instructions). I would also call the manufacture of Johnsons and see how quickly a clear coat/coating can be applied on top of it (or if it can). Their technical support would know best--but they may not be able to help you entirely since Beckers is not their product.

Best of Luck!
