When fixing the 2nd floor rentel property would you sand the floor first or paint the walls?

do not want paint on the floor after sanding but will the sander get dust on walls ? min heavy noneWhen fixing the 2nd floor rentel property would you sand the floor first or paint the walls?
Paint first.

Dust on the walls will be minimal and low on the walls. Just take a dust mop and run it around the wall above the baseboards after sanding.

Paint that got on the floor will come off easily during the sanding process. When fixing the 2nd floor rentel property would you sand the floor first or paint the walls?
Paint first. Dust is a lot easier to remove from walls than paint from a wood floor. Even if you are Johnny on the ';Spot';, the paint will still seep in to the pores of the wood.
Paint the walls beacause the paint will drip on the foor , and you can sand it off.
The sander if going to get dust everywhere. I would recommended painting first, but then cleaning the walls after you sand.
Sand the floor first then when it comes to painting, put dust sheets down on the floor. The walls shouldn`t get too dusty, and any dust can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
Paint the walls first. You can get sanders with the dust bag, make sure walls are completely dry before sanding the floor that way if any gets on the walls you can take a broom and sweep it off.
i'd paint last just be sure to wash down the wallsan d let them thoroughly dry before repainting,,,
I would sand the floors first. Put some plastic or drops on the floor. If the floor has it's finish coats done, minor paint drips will clean up fine.
You need to paint first and allow sufficient time to dry. Then you won't have to worry about getting dust in the paint. If time constraints are an issue you can always tape and plastic the walls . But always paint first, you would hate to finish the floor and then realize you got paint on it
Sand the floor first, give everywhere a good vacuuming and leave for a day. Then dust sheet over and paint the walls, job done,
Sand the floor then paint the walls. Any paint that gets on the floor can be cleand up right away and not ruin the floor.
sand the floor first, then cover well with paper or dust sheets,

any splashes can be sanded off after creating less dust.

failing that, u could paint the walls the leave it to dry completely before sanding floor.

it really depends on how long you have.

and a tip for you.

whn u paint a room, to remove the paint smell, cut an onion in half and leave shut in the room overnight, it aparrently absorbs the smell!!!!

good luck
