How to get dried paint off a floor ?

The paint is dry and has been for 11 or more years.

We just pulled up the carpet and the wood underneath is very pretty but, there is paint everywhere . How can I get it up ? How to get dried paint off a floor ?
If it is hardwood floor, the ONLY way is to rent a sander, follow instructions, and sand thoroughly. Remove the carpet completely and urethane it. Or have it done professionally.

All other patch up work, such paint remover, scrapers, varsol etc.. will do a hatch-up job and it will look uglier than when you started. So, do the right thing: Get it done professionally in the very first go. Saves you time, money (not a lot), and energy. How to get dried paint off a floor ?
There is a product called Goof Off that will remove it for you. There are 2 types of the product:an oil-based version that is pretty powerful, and a trigger-spray water-based version that is much safer, and shouldn't damage your floors. Look for them at Home Depot or Lowes. Good Luck!
Have you tried scraping them first? You may just find that after 11 years, they easily scrape off. Use a thin razor blade.

If that doesn't work, the only other thing I know of that does work is Goof Off.

You don't have to order it online either, as most home hardware and large surface hardware stores carry this item.
you can get it off by WASHING it or SCRUBBING for a long time
Paint thinner or wood stripper
